A dentist arrested on 39 invasion of privacy charges for allegedly planting a surveillance camera in a staff-only bathroom at his dental practice in West Virginia has been sued by 15 of his former employees, according to a story published May 19 in WTOV 9.

On May 13, 15 former employees, who worked in roles such as dental hygienist and front desk employee and who were not identified, filed individual lawsuits against Dr. Jeremy Michael Crow, 45, of Crow Dental Associates in Weirton, WV, according to the story.

In addition to the women claiming that Crow stole their dignity, they accuse him of sexual harassment, according to the story.

In August 2024, Crow, of Washington, PA, was arrested after he turned himself in to the police. If convicted, Crow faces up to one year in jail plus a fine of $5,000 for each criminal count.

In May 2024, an employee contacted police after reportedly discovering a hidden surveillance camera placed inside a water bottle in a bathroom at the practice. The bathroom was only used by staff.

Further investigation revealed that at least 10 women employees reported seeing the same water bottle device in the staff bathroom, according to reports. However, police confirmed that they have uncovered no evidence that would indicate secret cameras were placed in the bathroom used by patients.

For more than a dozen years, Crow has provided dental care to patients at the practice.

A criminal complaint is merely an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
