West Virginia University (WVU) School of Dentistry has received a $1.5 million grant designed to entice dental graduates to practice in-state.
The three-year grant will be used to fund a loan repayment program for WVU dental students who opt to stay in West Virginia after graduating, according to a story by West Virginia Public Broadcasting.
Students from the school lobbied legislators for the loan repayment program, which is being funded from multiple sources, according to the story.
