The Georgia School of Orthodontics (GSO) has launched the John Lewis Legacy Scholarships, committing $8.5 million to honor the late Rep. John Lewis.

In partnership with the John and Lillian Miles Lewis Foundation, the program will award 47 three-year scholarships worth $180,000 over 12 years, beginning August 2025.

The initiative also includes educational programs and civil rights tours for all orthodontic residents, reflecting Lewis' values of justice, equality, and education.
