The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Division of Oral Health is searching for a dental officer to lead the Surveillance, Investigations, and Research Team.
The person in this position will serve as a national expert in oral health science. The person will also lead others responsible for conducting national surveillance and other studies related to oral diseases, conditions, and behaviors.
The team lead provides specialized expertise to analyze epidemiologic studies and other data and applies this knowledge to complex and critical problems in surveillance, program evaluation, and community-based research, the CDC noted. The lead also provides oversight of the division's activities supporting dental infection prevention and control and the Dental Public Health Residency Program.
