Den-Mat has acquired the Snap-On Smile brand, a patented, removable custom appliance that snaps over a patient's natural teeth. Snap-On Smile will be now be produced exclusively by Den-Mat's Lumineers Smile Design Studio.
According to the company, applications for Snap-On Smile include:
- Aesthetic provisionals in implant cases
- Increasing of facial height (vertical dimension)
- Cosmetic removable partial dentures
- Long-term smile enhancement
"This is our third important transaction within the last six months," said Stephen Ziskind, CEO of Den-Mat, in a press release. "Den-Mat ... will continue to make acquisitions and strategic alliances consistent with its mission to be the global leader in minimally invasive oral healthcare."
