Dr. Giacobbi: "Hey, let's spend a minute with Dr. Juergen Langenbach from San Diego, California, to talk about the Katana Zirconia One For Implant by Kuraray Noritake Dental.

"You were a beta tester for this product. Tell me, what was the most exciting thing when they released it?"

Dr. Langenbach: "Well, the most exciting thing is to get my hands on it. To be honest, having the best material for zirconia crowns in my office already with Zirconia One and Zirconia One Speed, there was just a logical progression to have the implant solution available as well."

Dr. Giacobbi: "And what implant systems is this block currently available for?"

Dr. Langenbach: "Straumann, 3i Biomet, Zimmer, and Nobel Biocare, which is a great variety, really."

Dr. Giacobbi: "Yeah, that's fantastic. What a great starting point. I'm sure more will be coming. Speed is always important for people. Tell me a little bit about your experience with how fast we get from scan to finished implant crown."

Dr. Langenbach: "Yeah, speed is important. It's not age-related. I had an 80-plus-year-old gentleman in my office who demanded, after integration tests, that this implant needs to be restored with his crown right away. The process now is so short that we can produce single-visit implant crowns. The process overall, when you think of scanning to delivery, is slightly over 90 minutes. That's unheard of, and we had sintering times in the past, they went into the 40 minutes or longer. This is radical. This is completely different, and it gives us the opportunity to treat patients in the most efficient way."

Dr. Giacobbi: "Dr. Langenbach, thank you so much for your time today. Appreciate it."
