Dr. Brian John Fischer of Slater Dental in Slater, MO, was released from custody after posting a $5,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court for a hearing in November.

On at least two occasions in August and November 2024, Fischer allegedly slipped a dental mirror underneath a restroom door while it was being used by the former employee, according to the story.

When the woman confronted him about his behavior, Fischer claimed he was attempting to see if someone was using the bathroom. Then Fischer reportedly made several offers, including keeping the woman on the practice's payroll and giving her an envelope containing $500, to keep her from discussing the alleged incident with others in the community, according to the story.
