A patient in Ohio believed to be obsessed with his former dental practice and one of its employees was arrested for stalking the office, according to a story published on April 30 in the Chagrin Solon Sun.
The 38-year-old man, who was not identified, was arrested at his home in Solon, OH, and charged with menacing by stalking, according to the story.
On the morning of April 22, employees at Dental Care of Solon called police to request that a reportedly irate man be removed from the practice and issued a warning for trespassing. Without further incident, the man purportedly agreed to leave the practice.
However, two hours later, the practice's staff called police again because the same man reportedly had called and tried to book another dental appointment. Additionally, he allegedly asked specific questions about one of the practice's employees. When the staff refused to give him an appointment, he purportedly became angry and began yelling during the call, according to the story.
Police did not provide further details about why the man was angry or any other information about the employee he showed interest in. Further investigation revealed that the dental practice experienced problems with the man since November 2023. Practice employees had allegedly told the man to stop contacting the practice due to his unruly behavior. Also, some practice staff members reportedly did not feel safe around the man, according to the story.
