The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Division of Oral Health is accepting applications for next year's Dental Public Health Residency Program.
The training program produces skilled specialists in dental public health who work with their public health and dental colleagues to achieve improved oral health for the following populations:
- Health agencies
- Voluntary organizations
- Research settings
- Healthcare delivery or reimbursement systems
The program provides "opportunities to gain experience and skills across all 10 designated competency areas outlined by the American Board of Dental Public Health," the CDC said.
The application deadline for the 2021-2022 program is September 28.
