The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) has appointed Dr. Chelsea Fosse as the new director of the AAPD Pediatric Oral Health Research and Policy Center (POHRPC).
The center, which was established in 2011, aims to inform and advance research and policy to promote optimal oral healthcare for children. POHRPC conducts research studies and policy analysis through the AAPD to further the understanding of practices to improve oral health for children.
Fosse received her dental degree from Rutgers University and a master's degree in public health from Columbia University. She completed her dental public health residency at Jacobi Medical Center in New York. Fosse is a diplomate of the American Board of Dental Public Health.
