Biolux Research has appointed orthodontic industry veteran John Nabors as vice president of global sales and marketing.
Nabors' primary responsibility will be the commercialization of OrthoPulse, a new product designed to accelerate orthodontic tooth movement and reduce treatment timelines, according to the company.
OrthoPulse will launch in mid-2014 in Canada and Europe, followed by introduction into other markets.
Nabors' experience includes 25 years with 3M Unitek, where he became director of global educational marketing. He was involved with the launch of Transcend, APC, Clarity, MBT System, Forsus, and Imtech temporary anchorage devices.
Most recently, Nabors was the director of U.S. sales at TP Orthodontics.
