The Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry at the University of the Pacific has launched a new research center to support clinical innovation.
The Center for Innovation and Translation will bring researchers together to collaborate on clinical innovations to improve oral care, the school said. It will support pilot initiatives and clinical studies and will host Dugoni's biobank of patient samples. The center's director will be Dr. Rebecca Moazzez, current chair of the school's department of preventive and restorative dentistry.
