An alumnus of the Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University has donated a "substantial gift" to the program.

Larry Stone, DDS, graduated from the program in 1973 and wanted to make a gift to his alma mater. The donation will be used to support additional education focused on ethics for current dental students at Kornberg.

The funds will be used to fund a program for Kornberg students that includes a competition in which they compete to solve hypothetical ethical dilemmas to win scholarship prizes, according to the university.

Stone still practices dentistry part time in Bucks County in Pennsylvania.
