The University of Texas (UT) System Board of Regents has authorized a $95 million oral healthcare center to be built at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
The new Center for Oral Health Care will be constructed adjacent to the university's Medical Arts & Research Center and will enable the Health Science Center to enhance educational and clinical interactions between clinical specialties.
Plans call for approximately 172,000 sq ft on four levels and a 450-car parking garage. The building is expected to be completed by the end of 2014.
