InfoStar Productions, developer of the SideKick chairside patient education program, introduced the SideKick MP customized multiplatform patient education program at the ADA meeting this week in Las Vegas.
The SideKick MP is compatible with both PC and Mac, network servers, the Internet, tablets, and smartphones, according to the company.
In addition to preloaded procedure images and movies, the SideKick MP allows users to drag and drop, size, and place additional procedure images and movies anywhere within the program. Other new features include a Smile Imaging module that allows a doctor to show a patient what they could look like with either whiter teeth or a complete new smile makeover, a "looping" movie playlist, a patient tracking feature that automatically lists procedures shown to individual patients and allows for doctor notes, and a 50-language text translator.
The SideKick MP includes automatic pop-up help prompts, user video instructions, and free telephone assistance.
InfoStar, provider of patient education and Internet marketing products for the dental professionals since 1993, originally introduced its dental SideKick chairside patient education program in 2006.
