Banyan plans to form a new operating unit called America's Dentist to provide marketing, finance, practice management, and branding to the dental community.
Banyan believes it can leverage off its significant experience with Chiropractic USA, a national chain of franchised chiropractic clinics, and its existing operations in diagnostic imaging, to move into the dental arena, the company said.
Banyan is a publicly traded holding company focused on investing in and building a network of operating subsidiaries engaged in "various innovative businesses." Banyan also offers diagnostic testing services, designed to detect nervous system disorders, to doctors and chiropractors through a subsidiary, Premier Medical Group. Another division, Virtual Medical Systems, markets the VT3000 electrodiagnostic nerve testing machine.
