First Pacific adds 3D charting to practice management

Practice management firm First Pacific of Salem, OR, is now offering an integrated 3D charting software program. The program enables dentists to present the patient's oral condition in a 3D format, which is a valuable asset for patient education, according to the company. In addition, various types of files, including documents, letters, prescriptions, sound waves, and images, can be stored for each patient, and treatment can be charted one tooth at a time or by selecting a series of teeth.

"First Pacific's 3D charting software program enhances my case presentations to my patients and allows them to move forward with needed dentistry," Geoff Mykleby, D.D.S., of Wauwatosa, WI, stated in the company's press release. "During my first year with First Pacific, our business practice increased in profitability by more than 20%."
