The Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) has named 10 new dentists to its 2020 "10 Under Ten" list.
To qualify for the honor, dentists must have graduated from dental school in the past 10 years, be an MDS member, and have made significant contributions to the profession and community. The 2020 honorees are as follows:
- Matthew Freitas, DMD, a pediatric dentist in Reading and Winchester
- Michael Golub, DMD, an orthodontist in New Jersey
- Lea El Hachem, DDS, a periodontist who has relocated to Texas
- Ana Keohane, DDS, DMD, a general dentist in Boston, Everett, and Wellesley
- Luri Lee, DMD, a general dentist in Boston and Seekonk
- James Lee, DMD, a general dentist in Malden
- Sabina Malla, DDS, a general dentist in Fall River
- Claire McCarthy, DMD, a general dentist in Norwood and Quincy
- Richard Senatore, DMD, a general dentist in Boston and Stoneham
- Christopher Jacob Ward, DMD, a general dentist in Quincy
The MDS has been highlighting young dentists since 2005. This year's honorees were featured in the Spring 2020 issue of the Journal of the Massachusetts Dental Society and at the 2020 Yankee Dental Congress.
