Aesthetic Smile Reconstruction is launching a project called Smiles for Boston Heroes that will award a complete smile makeover to a person selected from nominations received through the end of the month.
The project is intended to support one of Boston's "unsung heroes," the company said.
"There are so many unsung heroes in Boston who deliver smiles every day by making things better for us during this crisis," said Aesthetic Smile Reconstruction's Charles Sutera, DMD, in a statement released by the firm. "We want to share their stories and reward someone with what we do best -- deliver better smiles."
Aesthetic Smile Reconstruction is taking nominations for the award through July 31. Nominees must be 18 years or older and live in or within 50 miles of Boston; to nominate, follow @DoctorSutera on Instagram, tag the nominee on Instagram using the hashtag #SmilesForBostonHeroes, and share a brief story about the person, including video or photos.
The project will consist of up to $20,000 in treatment, the company said. The winner will be announced on August 3.
