WASHINGTON, DC - Henry Schein Dental has launched its new Equipment & Technology Catalog at the 2015 ADA annual meeting.
The catalog, which includes expanded equipment offerings, practice management software, and digital imaging and CAD/CAM solutions, features augmented reality. Augmented reality is the process of using an external technology, such as a smartphone app, to overlay digital content onto the physical world.
Dental care practitioners can download the Henry Schein Xtra app for free from the Apple App and Google Play stores. Then, practitioners can use the app to hover over pages of the catalog and see animations. The product page animations will launch a tool that allows readers to navigate the content of the catalog.
