BioRed has entered the medical waste disposal market with a system that includes a mail-back program.
The company's 18-gallon waste return system accepts both sharps and red-bag waste in one convenient container, according to the company. Offices ship waste as needed via the U.S. Postal Service, instead of having scheduled pickups via truck. The company also autoclaves, rather than incinerates, the waste.
The system is now available on the company's website. Prices start at $190 per container, while dental amalgam kits are available for $130.
