The deadline for COVID-19 pandemic relief grants from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has been extended to September 13.
The $175 billion fund was established to help healthcare providers experiencing economic losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was created by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act and the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act and provides eligible dentists with reimbursement of 2% of their annual reported patient revenue, according to the California Dental Association (CDA).
