Pearl has received the 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to extend the use of its AI Second Opinion technology to panoramic radiographs.
The clearance allows the platform to identify suspected caries, periapical radiolucencies, and impacted third molars on panoramic images available to Second Opinion users through Pearl’s software and integrated dental systems.
