The American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) has appointed Dr. Mia L. Geisinger as its president during its 110th annual meeting.

Other officers installed include the following:

  • Dr. Ana Becil Giglio, president-elect
  • Kristi M. Soileau, vice president
  • Dr. Richard Nagy, secretary/treasurer
  • Dr. Stephen Meraw, immediate past president
