The American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) has named Dr. Ana Becil Giglio as its new president in addition to appointing new officers.
Giglio runs a private periodontal and implant practice in New York City and has served as an adjunct professor at the New York University College of Dentistry for 27 years. Additionally, she is a past president of the Northeastern Society of Periodontists.
Other newly appointed officers include President-elect Dr. Kristi M. Soileau, MEd; Vice President Dr. Richard Nagy; and Secretary/Treasurer Dr. Brad Crump, MS.
