The American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (AADOCR) has elected Drs. Kimon Divaris, PhD, as its vice president and Mia L. Geisinger as its representative to the International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (IADR)/AADOCR publications committee.
Divaris is a pediatric dentist and oral and genetic epidemiologist and currently serves as department chair at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry.
Geisinger is a professor and chair of periodontology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and director of advanced education in periodontology. Additionally, she served as president of the American Academy of Periodontology.
