The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) has named Dr. Jessica Y. Lee, PhD, MPH, as its CEO, effective June 1.
Currently, Lee serves as the William M. Demeritt distinguished professor of pediatric dentistry and is senior associate dean at the University of North Carolina Adams School of Dentistry. Lee previously served as AAPD’s president from 2020 to 2021.
As CEO, she will guide AAPD’s efforts in advocacy, education, and research to expand access to oral healthcare for children.
