The Association for Dental Safety, formerly the Organization for Safety, Asepsis, and Prevention, announced the members of its 2024-2025 board of directors.
The board includes the following officers:
- Dr. Ramneek Rai, who is the director of health and safety and the health sciences assistant clinical professor in the department of preventive and restorative dental sciences at the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry, will serve as board chair.
- Julie Lynch, MS, RN, will serve as vice chair. Lynch is the director of the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare Institute for Quality Improvement.
- Dr. Kelli Mack is the treasurer. Mack is the dental research and consultation service assistant director, infection prevention and control and patient safety, at the Joint Base San Antonio in Texas.
- Joyce Moore, RDH, was elected secretary. Moore is a consultant and speaker on infection and healthcare compliance issues.
Additionally, Janie Shen, vice president of marketing of Medicom, was elected to the board. Returning directors include Dr. Steven Geiermann; Zecki Dossal; Matthew Ellis, MPH; Kimberly Grensavitch, RDH; Aaron Pfarrer; Michael Williamson; Dr. Raleigh Wright; and Steve Wright, MBA.
