The American Association of Endodontists (AAE) has announced its officers of the board of directors for the 2023-2024 term.
The following root canal specialists were installed during the AAE23 annual meeting:
- Dr. Craig Hirschberg, who has been chair of the department of endodontics at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine since 2013, will serve as president.
- Dr. Natasha Flake, PhD, MSD, a part-time practitioner, educator, and diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, will serve as president-elect.
- Dr. Steven Katz, MS, a full-time practitioner and a diplomate to the American Board of Endodontics, will serve as vice president.
- Dr. W. Craig Noblett, MS, a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a fellow of the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists, will serve as treasurer.
- Dr. Elizabeth Shin Perry, a full-time practitioner and a clinical instructor and lecturer in the advanced graduate program in endodontics at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, will serve as secretary.
- Dr. Stefan Zweig, a fellow of the American College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy and an associate professor of clinical dentistry, department of endodontics and periodontics, at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California, will serve as past president.
