Medicaid dental benefits administrator DentaQuest has donated $25,000 to the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.
The donation supports two funds: the Indigent Care Fund, which helps fund dental treatment for those who can't afford it, and the Community-Based Dental Education Fund, which assists dental students during externships in underserved areas. The donation aims to diversify and expand the dental workforce while also addressing Oklahoma's shortage of dentists.
