Marquette University School of Dentistry alumnus Jeff Moos, DDS, and his wife, Beth, have pledged $1 million to the school's Building for the Future campaign, which supports the school's 40,000-sq-ft expansion.
Jeff, a 1983 graduate of the dental school and 1979 biology graduate, is part owner and CEO of Midwest and Mountain Dental, a group dental practice with offices in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, New Mexico, and Colorado. He also acts as Midwest Dental's chief dental officer, directing and guiding patient care and clinical services.
Beth, a 1979 Marquette University physical therapy graduate, practices at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, WI.
Residents of Mondovi, WI, Jeff and Beth met during freshman orientation at Marquette in 1975. Today, their oldest son is in his third year at the dental school, and another son will begin dental school this fall. Jeff's uncle and two cousins are also Marquette dentists. For the couple, the gift to the campaign represents their appreciation for the value of their Marquette education.
In recognition of the gift, the dental school will name the faculty practice clinic in Jeff and Beth's honor. The faculty practice clinic is a full-service general dentistry and multispecialty facility where the school's faculty members provide dental care to the public.
