Henry Schein noted the 25th anniversary of its Back to School program, which provides backpacks, school supplies, and more to support the needs of underserved children and their families.
Since the program's inception, more than 65,000 children have started a new school year with confidence, Henry Schein said.
This year, program participants at 34 locations, including 21 U.S. facilities and 13 international sites in five countries (Canada, Ireland, Italy, Spain, and the U.K.), are donating backpacks filled with school supplies to more than 5,000 children. The program is a flagship initiative of Henry Schein Cares, the company's global corporate social responsibility program.
