Fred Freedman, Dental Trade Alliance (DTA) vice president of member services, has been named president of the International Dental Manufacturers (IDM).
Fred Freedman. Image courtesy of DTA.Freedman, who succeeds Dr. Gianfranco Berrutti, will be installed for a two-year term at the IDM General Assembly Meeting on February 25 in Chicago. He has been employed at DTA since 2002 and has been a member of IDM's executive board for six years.
Additionally, Freedman is staff liaison with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) Center for Devices and Radiological Health, the International Organization for Standardization, the U.S. Department of Commerce, and adjacent organizations to the DTA.
