DrBicuspid.com National Sales Director August "Auggie" James died on January 8. He has left behind a tremendous legacy in the dental industry through his 25 years of advertising sales experience with traditional and digital media companies.
August "Auggie" James.James joined DrBicuspid.com in 2018 as a sales manager. During his three-year tenure, he rose through the ranks to become national sales director by building relationships and securing contracts with many of the top brands in dentistry.
Prior to his time at DrBicuspid.com, James held numerous sales positions at leading companies in the dental and medical media industries, including as a district sales manager for PennWell, where he represented Dental Economics magazine, RDH magazine, and DentistryIQ.com.
James was known for his joyful spirit and hardworking nature, which were on full display at the many conferences he attended as a representative of DrBicuspid.com. He also had a great golf game and won a prize at the friendly contest that took place during the 2021 Dental Trade Alliance tournament.
Outside of work, James had an abiding love for his wife, two children, and pets. His personal interests included fishing, watching sports, and spending time outdoors.

Donations can be made in Auggie's name to Illinois Valley Animal Rescue.
