The CEO and president of Zimmer Biomet has resigned.
David Dvorak had served as CEO for the company since May 2007. During his time at the company, the number of employees grew from 3,000 in 2001 to 18,000 at present, according to Zimmer Biomet.
Dvorak is replaced on an interim basis by Daniel Florin, senior vice president and chief financial officer, until a permanent successor for both roles is named.
