Benco Dental has announced the winners of the 2017 Lucy Hobbs Project Awards.

- Industry Icon award -- Patricia Blanton, DDS, PhD
- Mentor award -- Emily Ishkanian, DMD
- Woman-to-Watch award -- Irene Marron-Tarrazzi, DMD
- Innovator award -- Margaret Fickess, RDA
- Humanitarian award -- Winifred Booker, DDS
The recipients will be honored during the project's fifth annual celebration, to be held on April 27-28 in Philadelphia.
The Lucy Hobbs Project is a national program based on three pillars: networking, innovating, and giving back. Named after Dr. Lucy Hobbs Taylor, the first American woman to earn a degree in dentistry in 1866, this project aims to bring women together from all areas of the dental industry. The project is free to join and offers networking opportunities, educational programs, and charitable events.
