SomnoMed subsidiary SomnoMed Canada has acquired the business of Strong Dental, based in Leamington, Ontario.
All assets of Strong Dental, an exclusive license to all patents linked to devices made by the company for the treatment of sleep disordered breathing, and the employment of key staff are all covered in the acquisition.
"The acquisition of Strong Dental in Canada will not only add a highly reputable device to our line of SomnoDent dental sleep devices ... but it will also give SomnoMed its own service and logistic hub, a precondition for selling our SomnoDent products, directly in Canada," stated Peter Neustadt, executive chairman of SomnoMed, in a press release.
SomnoMed is a public company providing diagnostic and treatment solutions for sleep-related breathing disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea, snoring, and bruxism.
