Carestream Dental has announced that registration is open for the newly revamped Dental Summit, to be held in Atlanta on November 7-9. Previously known as the Dental Users Conference, this conference offers doctors and their teams an opportunity to network with other practices and gain insider information about the equipment and software they use every day, according to the company.
The summit is now open to all dental professionals, not just users of Carestream Dental's dental practice management software and equipment. Additionally, the scope of educational sessions has been expanded. Renowned industry experts will examine compelling topics such as marketing and social media, giving back to the community, sleep apnea, and the cloud.
"Today's dentist's office is changing -- not only is it filled with new technology, but its presence in the community and online is evolving as well," Mary Conditt, director of clinical affairs, U.S. digital, Carestream Dental, stated in a press release. "In response to this, we've brought in several new speakers to address these changing industry trends in the field, such as social media and community giving."
These educational sessions provide attendees with the potential to earn eight continuing education (CE) credits over the course of the weekend.
