Athenahealth, a provider of cloud-based services for electronic health records (EHR) and practice management, and Henry Schein have expanded their strategic agreement.
Under the expanded agreement, the companies will integrate Athenahealth's athenaNet platform and Henry Schein's Dentrix Enterprise electronic dental record (EDR) system to facilitate uniform data system (UDS) reporting, which is a requirement for community health centers, including federally qualified health centers.
The integration of the athenaNet and Dentrix Enterprise platforms will automate the UDS reporting process without the need for manual reconciliation between separate systems.
