The California Dental Association's (CDA) recent CDA Cares free dental clinic in Vallejo, CA, provided $1.5 million in dental services during the two-day event. Nearly 1,800 volunteers, including dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, and lab technicians, helped provide services to almost 2,000 patients. Features Editor Donna Domino was there. And too often, events such as these that take place throughout the country don't receive the publicity they deserve, but the good work and the long hours do make an important difference in people's lives.
