UOP dental students honored; how to screen for potential embezzlers

Smiles, handshakes, and satisfied customers abounded last week during the University of the Pacific (UOP) dental school's annual Excellence Day event.

More than 50 student dentists gave presentations on the care they provided at the UOP clinic, including complex restorations, dentures, implants, cosmetic dentistry, removable prosthodontics, and orthodontics. In addition, more than 20 awards for clinical excellence, research, and community service were presented.
