On November 10, more than 200 volunteers from Smile Generation offices and Pacific Dental Services helped build a new play area at CPLC De Colores, a free domestic violence shelter in Phoenix that is owned and operated by Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC) and the nonprofit KaBOOM.
The Smile Generation dentists and dental care team also set up an onsite dental clinic and treated approximately 90 patients, providing nearly $67,000 in donated dental services. Treatments included cleanings, extractions, root canals and Cerec CAD/CAM same-day crown restorations.
Strategic partners Crest Oral-B, Patterson Dental, and Specialized Office Systems, donated supplies for this event.
