Registration for the first European Medical ALARA Network (EMAN) workshop ends Tuesday, 15 May.
The workshop, which will cover the optimization of radiation protection for occupational and patient exposures in the medical field, will be held in Vienna from 7-9 June 2012. The aim is to draw and disseminate conclusions and recommendations from the EMAN project and to elaborate on and discuss further actions.
The project is supported by the European Commission and aims to create a sustainable network enabling the medical community to discuss and exchange information on topics related to implementing the ALARA principle.
