DentalPlans.com and its Dental HyGenie mascot will award $2,012 toward dental care costs to one deserving fan through the company's new Grant a Dental Wish Facebook contest.
From January 10 through January 16, DentalPlans.com Facebook fans can submit stories of up to 400 words about how a prize of more than $2,000 for dental care expenses would help them in 2012.
On January 17, the Dental HyGenie and DentalPlans.com's voting panel will share the top 10 dental care needs stories submitted by Facebook fans. Then fans will have until January 24 to vote for the person they feel could use the money toward their dental care bills the most.
The first place winner of the contest will receive up to $2,012 toward the cost of their dental bills. Two runners-up will also win a free discount dental plan, which can be used with or without dental insurance, to save 10% to 60% on most dental care procedures.
