Andreas Meldau has joined Henry Schein as president of European dental specialties and exclusive products, a newly created position within the organization.
Based in Langen, Germany, Meldau will be part of Henry Schein's International Group, reporting to Bob Minowitz, president of Henry Schein's European Dental Group. Meldau will focus on four strategically important specialty categories: orthodontics, implants, oral surgery, and endodontics, the company noted.
Previously, Meldau was CEO of Coltene Holding since 2008. Prior to that, he served as chief operating officer of Coltene's dental group and CEO of Coltène/Whaledent EMEA.
