The Illinois Children's Healthcare Foundation has awarded a $29,590 grant to the Shawnee Health Service to support its Oral Health Education Program, according to a news story in the Southern Business Journal.
Shawnee will use the funding to purchase and install monitors for patient education videos in numerous dental facilities.
Shawnee Health Service was established in 1971 to improve the health and welfare of southern Illinois and southwest Indiana residents through the promotion, development, and administration of preventive primary health and social services.
