Oral Health America Oral Heath America is a non-profit organization founded in 1955 and headquartered in Chicago. Our mission is to change lives by connecting communities with resources to increase access to care, education, and advocacy for all Americans, especially those most vulnerable. ACCESS: OHA affords oral disease prevention and oral health promotion for Americans of all ages through funding, technical assistance, donated dental product, and by facilitating public-private partnerships. EDUCATION: OHA's messages to the American public center around self care, regular dental visits, tobacco cessation and healthy food choices, and routinely generate over 400 million audience impressions. National Children's Oral Health Foundation National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s Toothfairy® (NCOHF) is exclusively focused on supporting direct delivery of comprehensive oral healthcare for underserved children. It unites caring professionals, individuals, non-profit agencies and industry leaders to break the cycle of preventable pediatric dental disease. NCOHF supports a growing national Affiliate network of not-for-profit, community-based oral health programs bringing critical dental services to the children who need them most. Since 2006, NCOHF has distributed over $8 million in direct funding, donated dental products and technical resources to its Affiliate network. Oral Cancer Foundation With our mouth we eat and drink what sustains us. With it, we communicate ideas and feelings to the world through speech or a simple smile. It allows us to taste the nuance of a fine wine, the sweetness of a freshly picked berry, or mustard covered hot dog at the ballpark. Love or passion is expressed by it when we kiss a loved one or child. When cancer affects our mouths, it does more than take away these everyday functions, it too often takes our lives. Through increased public and professional awareness, prevention through lifestyle changes, early detection initiatives, education, improved treatment modalities, and sponsorship of research, the Oral Cancer Foundation's mission is to contribute to the reduction of suffering, permanent physical damage and disfigurement, and death caused by this disease.
