The ADA House of Delegates has named William Calnon, D.D.S., a general dentist from Rochester, NY, as the associations' 2010-2011 president-elect.
Dr. Calnon, who is past president of the New York State Dental Association, just completed a four-year term on the ADA Board. His other responsibilities with the ADA include serving on the Council on Dental Practice and on key committees and subcommittees.
Dr. Calnon received his dental degree from State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He will assume the ADA presidency in October 2011.
