Delta Dental of Illinois has named Bernard Glossy CEO and president. Glossy served previously as chairman of the board for Delta USA and spent nine years as president and CEO of Delta Dental of Arizona, a $160 million company.
Glossy is taking the helm of a "vibrant" not-for-profit company, according to Delta Dental of Illinois. It has increased its primary subscribers by more than 70% over the last seven years and had $415 million in revenue in 2009.
Delta Dental of Illinois is one of 39 independently operated member companies of the Delta Dental Plans Association, which serves more than 54 million Americans with dental coverage and nearly 94,000 groups nationwide.
