Birner Dental Management Services,operators of the Perfect Teethdental practices, reported a slight decrease in revenues for the third quarter of FY2009 compared to the same quarter a year ago (end-September 30). Net revenue fell $268,000, or 3.1%, to $8.5 million, compared to $8.7 million for the same period last year.
Net income for the quarter declined $135,000, or 26.9%, to $366,000, compared to net income of $500,000 for the third quarter of FY2008.
The company attributed the decrease in net revenue for the quarter to a general weakness in the economy in its markets.
